Last October, Victoria Bergsman (The Concretes, Peter Bjorn & John) released her third studio LP, Other Worlds , under her solo project moniker, Taken By Trees . Inspired by a vacation Bergsman took to Hawaii, the LP's latest single is “Only You,” a posterchild for tropicalia featuring plenty of steel drums and slide guitar. Laura Marling has teamed up with directors Fred & Nick on a 20-minute long short film When Brave Bird Saved that features the four opening songs of her forthcoming LP Once I Was An Eagle . According to the directors the film is "directly inspired, informed, and narrated" by those first four songs. Of all the dumb shit my father has gotten up to in his back garden, last Friday's dumb shit was the dumbest shit yet.
