Talib Kweli's Prisoner of Conscious is a play on both his own reputation as a socially conscious rapper and on the term "prisoner of conscience" created by Peter Buchanan in his 1961 London Observer article "The Forgotten Prisoners." The slightly intoxicated  trio stopped by Statik Selektah's radio show last week to freestyle some bars over a familiar A$AP Rocky beat. Aaradhna starts the song with very soulful vocals and showcases why the Unverisal/Republic signee is the next thing to watch.
