With two releases, Berlin-based label Steyoyoke installed itself as a trustful source of good vibes when it comes to House-Music. I'm Fine & Antonio Olivieri took us into an enigmatic House journey with the first release , while Dahu built a bridge between Deep-House, Techno, Minimal and Ambient with his « Deep In The Woods » cold melodies. First introduced to public with his mind-blowing mixtape on Steyoyoke's podcast, anonymous artist Soul Button is now revealing his world with a first EP under this new moniker... and brace [...]
Say hello to Tear Talk , a four-piece from Liverpool. We covered them once before, way back in January , when they released their debut EP, Port Sunlight, via Bleeding Gold Records. Back then we described them as " nostalgic, shimmery rock music that reminds us of Galaxy 500 " and the band have since added a few new tracks to their Soundcloud page . We loved the EP and we loved the new tracks so we thought it only appropriate [...]
Hipster!!!!
To you, what is a "hipster"? What do you think of the word's usage these days? Are you a hipster? Do you hate hipsters? Do you like them? Do you secretly admire hipsters, but then hate on them in a public setting? Is "hipster" a term that accurately defines a group of people, or has it been turned into a cultural slur?

Mac Miller- Macadelic
Here's the description of the collaborative review straight from Dead End Hip Hop: "More Needledrop? Why not. Needledrop and DEHH link up to review Mac Miller's last project Macadelic. Mac Miller dropped this project a earlier this year for his fans as an appreciation for making Blue Slide Park a success. Macadelic is a step in a slightly different direction for Mac Miller with the sound and content. Here is our breakdown of Mac Miller's Macadelic mixtape featuring the Needledrop. While this may seem like an odd review for us to take on, consider the time [...]
Listen/Download: Sweet Talk – "Talk"
Most bands carry their influences with pride and a bit of arrogance, Sweet Talk sound as if they are bearing the 902s like a cross. I can't help but listen to " Talk " and believe this sound has been directly channeled from a childhood spent broing down with Pavement and Archers Of Loaf . Barring Cloud Nothings I'd say Sweet Talk are better than any other (relevant) band out at keeping any influence that could be attached [...]
B.o.B- Strange Clouds
On his sophomore release, B.o.B climbs further up the mainstream ladder by continuing to blend hip hop with some of the poppiest sounds imaginable. While a few singles in this style aren't bad, B.o.B overdoes it a bit by making nearly every track shoot for some kind of pre-chewed, radio-friendly sound. The end result is an album that doesn't feel all that personal or engaging. Rather, it's pretty one-size-fits all. WATCH THE REVIEW
Lone- Galaxy Garden
With loads of glossy, tropical synths and irresistibly funky rhythms, the new Lone album is an electronic soundtrack to ear-to-ear grins and lost inhibitions. WATCH THE REVIEW

Draplin's 50 Point Plan to Wreck Your Life (or Make it Worth Living)
Graphic designer Aaron James Draplin ( previously ) shares his 50 Point Plan at Portland's March 2012 Creative Mornings lecture . Yes, before you bring the snark, the video is about 50 minutes long. But, if like me, you will probably want to start this video as background noise to other work. However, about 15 minutes in you'll be watching this like you were there. Trust me, it's that inspiring a talk.
