More special releases have been announced for the upcoming international Record Store Day . Among these are offerings from the likes of MGMT , Tame Impala and Cut Copy . MGMT will release single 'Alien Days' on limited-edition cassette, while Tame Impala will reissue their debut EP on 123 vinyl for the first time. Cut Copy meanwhile will re-release debut record Bright Like Neon Love on vinyl with new artwork. This year’s Record Store Day takes place on Saturday 20 April.

Western Australia's Tame Impala primarily started as a "psychedelic rock project" by Kevin Parker and has been gaining momentum with a substantial amount of praise from critics since their 2010 debut, Innerspeaker. With the immediate success of their debut album, they received four ARIA Music Awards nominations along with a slot as the opening act for MGMT's American Tour. Along with the title track, the single will also include two remixes, one from Ducktails and the other The Field. By now you know that Tame Impala melted minds all over Lonerism , and here album standout "Mind Mischief" gets a hypnotic, minimalist tweak by electronic master The Field. Yep, Alex Willner takes a punchy piece of psychedelic pop and does his thing – taking microscopic samples, pairing with a huge, languid beat and letting it all unravel over 10 minutes.
