The Swedish duo sing "Universal Soldier" and "It Hurts Me Too" in the latest 7" from Third Man Records.

And in the evening, when the sun´s gone down and it´s cooled off a bit, I love to play me some of that old blues. There´s nothing better than sitting on your porch late at night, drink in hand and stars overhead, listening to the masters from the Delta or the windy city. So here´s another tenpack, filled to the brim with blues treasures I´ve been digging recently. Tampa Red was a triple threat. He played bottleneck guitar, piano, and as heard on these recordings, the kazoo . He also wrote some great songs, many of them of the double entendre variety, including "Let Me Pet your Poodle" and "Let's Get Drunk and Truck." Today's selection, from 1949, "When Thing's Go Wrong" will be familiar to you as the Elmore James number: "It Hurts Me Too," from Elmore's last session with Bobby Robinson in New York City a few months before his death in 1963. It was released posthumously in 1965 and was a hit on the [...]
