The self-reliant Glaswegians are surprisingly still unsigned though this is surely not from want of offers. The music is epic and anthemic, with stadium-sized drums and guitar riffs so sharp you could shave with them. Confident in their own talent and smashing out roof-raising choruses, this sounds like Echo and the Bunnymen meeting U2, and perhaps it's only the tremulous warble of Pat Hynes that might put some people off.
