West coast music festival #3 to announce its 2010 lineup today is the Portland, Oregon based Musicfest NW . The four-day extravaganza, set to take place from September 9-12, is sort of Bumbershoot (in terms of its lineup) meets South by Southwest (in terms of its set up). In all, 160 bands will play 17 clubs across downtown Portland during the four days. Ted Leo & The Pharmacists have been confirmed to play this year's Siren Festival . The band will play the 10th annual festival which is set to take place July 17 at Coney Island in Brooklyn. Ted Leo and the Pharmacists' latest full-length (and first for Matador) turns back from the relative sprawl of 2007's eclectic Living with the Living and finds the rocker playing to his strengths: melody-minded post-punk dispatches blasted fast and loud.
