Sadly one of the most overlooked releases of 2011 was without a doubt Southern Maryland native and rapper Kelow's free debut album "Colored Pencils" (download here ) on which she delivered a great piece of future in 13 tracks. Kelow's carefree, confident and expressive raps shines through in great tunes like 'Give It to Me', 'Press Buttons' ft. A group of Swedish artists, including Miike Snow, Lykke Li, Peter Bjorn and John, and The Teddybears, have formed a new collective/record label called Ingrid. According to an official statement , the organization was "created over numerous cups of pitch black coffee at Mellqvist's in Stockholm" with the intention of "creating straight from the heart right to the people without any middle hands," thus affording artists an "opportunity for creation, collaboration, and compilation sonically and visually."Watch two promotional films for Ingrid below.
