A mí no me joden.

MOM A totally insane yet melodic racket that sways drunkedly between traditional crooner waltz and diabolic discomofort. Special, that’s for sure. Mom - Teddy Bear ( mp3 )

Hey Boy - Teddybears Fresh (2004) One of Axe 's adverts from their Hair Crisis Relief series features a dude with flakes dancing in the club to a thumping track. The man with the hair crisis is dancing a funny dance that reminds me of a particular bar in the pizza ally in Lima, Peru where a pair of gentlemen were doing the exact same dance! In the commercial, the dance is interrupted as some [...]

I was watching LOST last week (probably the only show that I still watch live) and I saw indie artists in three commercials in a row and decided it was about time for another edition of “Commercial Watch”. So just in case, you also use your DVR / Tivo to skip straight to the show, here's a few of the best songs that those creative types at the ad agencies are selecting for their marketing campaigns. Includes MP3s and link to video free of charge. Disney's Earth: Sigur Ros - Hoppipola [...]

Despite the brief snowfall we had the other day, it's officially Spring and that means I'm starting to think about riding my bike again. I'm really looking forward to it. I love being outside and breezing down the country roads, feeling the warmth of the sun and the wind in my hair. Going up the hills isn't such a breeze, but the payoff is definitely worth it. To keep me going I love to make mixes, which I listen to on my 'pod. I'm starting to gather "motivational" tracks for my rides, so [...]

Wer freut sich noch über die Sonne? Die warme farbenfrohe Welt, draußen vor den Fenstern? Hand hoch! Also meine war jedenfalls sofort oben. Neimo - Lines Phoenix - Lasso The [...]
Paying Frommage to Rock and Roll's Pioneers 50 years ago today - that's right - 50 freakin' years ago, these were among the tunes that sat atop the Cashbox Top 100 . The Platters - Smoke Gets In Your Eyes - The definitive rhythm and blues of 1959 pop, finally #1 on the chart after 3 straight weeks playing second fiddle to The Chipmunk Song . Connie Francis - My Happiness - Predating her records with [...]

Another week, another recap of music from GG, 90210, and CHUCK. Let's do this. Gossip Girl's fifteenth episode of season two wasn't particularly music-heavy. They had the smarts to go with brand spankin' new Franz Ferdinand (No You Girls, You Never Know). Unfortunately, this isn't that great of a song, and based off of Stereogum's review, my anticipation for the album has been lower. Still, the chorus is great, and I'm pulling out for what could be a good album- Tonight drops on January 26th. The episode also used The Faint's robotic "Mirror Error" [...]

Verne Troyer is currently on Celebrity Big Brother in the UK and they made all the house guests , not just Mini-Me, dress up like teddy bears and eat from a honeypot. When former pop star Michelle Heaton and Hollywood actor Verne Troyer objected to being told to dress as teddies and eat a pot of honey, they were simply told to 'bear with it'. Hello and welcome to the first ever Blog Wars hosted by Pretty Much Amazing! This is the first of hopefully many Blog Wars to come. This particular Blog War pins bloggers and their music libraries against each other. Utilizing iTune's "Genius Playlist" feature, 10 bloggers will go head to head and compete for your votes! This is how it works: I get two bloggers to create a Genius Playlist stemmed from the same song. I will publish said playlists here and you, the readers, will decide which one you like [...]

Adios, Island Records...Hello, Richard X ! There hasn't been too much buzz about it, but Annie is planning a proper release for February 2009! This time, it's going to see the light of day...I can feel it. The track, called "Ánthonio," will be packaged under Richard X's label, Black Melody, along with two remixes: One by Designer Drugs , and one by Fred Falke . I love the title...It's very Hercules & Love Affair . Let's hope it's aurally similar as well (with a few more synths added in [...]

This song's not exactly new, the original was by Teddybears with Mad Cobra and then Robyn covered it. I don't follow local radio so I'm not sure whether Singaporeans had caught the trend but it is imensely popular in Europe for sometime now. Recently there's a host of incredible remixes, I bring you two of 'em. Robyn - Cobrastyle (Samim Remix) (YSI) Teddybears feat. Mad Cobra - Cobrastyle (Diplo Remix) (YSI) Posted in Club, Electronica, Hip Hop, Kwaito, Minimal, Synth Pop, Tech House [...]

**Win a copy of the EP and game for PS3 by leaving a comment!** As the government watches your every move and fear any challenge to their power; you jump across rooftops doing clandestine operations, every step a struggle to stay alive in hopes of a better future. This is the plot to a new video game called The Mirror's Edge whose theme song by Swedish artist Lisa Miskovsky is fittingly titled "Still Alive". To coincide with the game's release, a remix album of the theme was also made. First [...]

This here is a little compilation of our favorite, yes favorite, video sections songs. It's the combination of the song and associated section that has made it to this list. So download em, make a playlist, and name that part or reminisce on the glory days or do whatever you've gotta do. But if these dont make you happy, youre dead to us all.... (In no particular order) The Knife - Heartbeats : AfterLame Radiohead [...]

Awhile back, Ms. Robyn covered a great track by the newly transformed Teddybears, both from Sweden. 'Cobrastyle' featured Mad Cobra , (whom the track was named after) a dance hall and reggae grandmaster creating a really unique track on a great Mad Cobra , (whom the track was named after) a dance hall and reggae grandmaster creating a really unique track on a great album . I didn't really like the Robyn cover all that much (check the vid here ), believing that her vocals just didn't fit the production. The [...]

Originally a verse by reggae MC Mad Cobra , Cobrastyle has worked its way in and out of the hands of many artists. Made famous by the Teddybears , and resurfacing in Robyn's version, which was later remixed by The Bloody Beetroots , and finally remixed by the Dirty Monkeez ... (who was in that movie with Kevin Bacon). ______________________________ ______________________________ ______________________________ ________ MP3: Mad Cobra - "Press Trigger" ( buy ) [...]

The original was done by Teddybears featuring Mad Cobra . Cobrastyle was in fact a track which used riffs and elements of older songs that you might be familiar with including " Bomdigi " by Erick Sermon. Robyn went on to do a cover of it in 2006 for her EP The Rakamonie . The track itself, was so successful it has been featured in countless ad campaigns and TV shows. I present 3 mixes of the track, from Diplo [...]

I'm pretty much down lately, with all the school work, and "family feuds", and I have been hitting the meds pretty hard to get rid of it. Sucks being busy and stuff and I just hate being sick (who does?). This remix, from Bloody Beetroots of Robyn 's cover of the Teddybears track, makes me get that warming feeling, like when you drink a little more than the usual dose of any of the "-quil"'s. It just builds and builds and builds, and you want the climax to happen and bang and such, [...]
