Brainfeeder producer Teebs returns today with another majestic new joint. This one, "For Phil", is dedicated to a friend of his who owns or works at a grilled cheese spot. Last year, quiet as kept, Teebs dropped The Cecilia Tapes, a 300-pressed CDR with hand-made artwork that he sold at live shows and the HVW8 gallery. There were rough unmastered sketches, but they still tapped into the elemental deciduous beauty of everything the Brainfeeder family artist has released. You should acquire it if you can. I personally find it humorous that some of my favorite artists are so hard on themselves when posting music to their Soundcloud pages. Like Teebs , for example, who just uploaded a track called "Pianomess" that's anything but a mess. It's a rather charming, albeit brief, piece that would fit right in on a Legend of Zelda soundtrack. Who knows, maybe the Brainfeeder producer is actually sampling "Zora's Domain" and I just can't pin it down.

Teebs is an elusive producer, constantly floating under the radar with his one-offs, demoes and remixes. His latest leak comes by way of a fantastic redo he did for a band called Chessie and their song "Magnolia". Apparently this juvenile little jam was done back in 2007, part of the reason why dublab first fell in love with the music of this producer. We are pretty fortunate to get this one in our hands, so listen while you can and let us know what you think. [ via ]

Le producteur américain Teebs partage pour notre plus grand plaisir, un tout nouveau morceau intitulé Bleep . Une piste expérimentale d'à peine une minute trente qui nous donne envie de nous reposer tout en l'écoutant en boucle cette magnifique partie instrumentale. Seule déception au niveau de sa durée, un si bon titre aurait mérité d'atteindre largement les trois minutes, mais nous avons espoir d'avoir l'occasion d'écouter une version longue prochainement.
Teebs is back with another slice of LA to distract us from the long UK winter we’re all so readily getting stuck into. It’s drastically more restrained than his LP, remarkably less tactile and well, it’s only 1.17 in length. To be quite honest it’s not even very good, but it’s Teebs , so I’ll take what I can get.
