For all the chillwave that was thrown at the wall after Washed Out, Neon Indian and Toro Y Moi, very few of it really stuck. There are some exceptions, whether by social-media blitzing, or lowest-common-denominator pandering, but Teen Daze is and has always been about showcasing the immense musical talent he possesses. And now that he's more or less left chillwave by the wayside, his creative output is stronger for it, and he's convinced quite a few people he's capable of much, much more. The release date of "The Inner Mansions", the new album from Teen Daze, is inching closer and closer and is expected to be released on November 6, 2012, on Lefse Records. The latest original the Canadian producer has decided to share with us is titled "By Love," which is a song that exhibits a multitude of well-executed, start and stop melodies that give off a tranquil vibe that ranges from being quietly somber at times to being vigorous and upbeat.

Algodón Egipcio , the nighttiming name of Caracas, Venzuela's Cheky Bertho, recently released a collection of remixes from his debut album La Lucha Constante . That album was one of my favorites from 2011 so I was pretty excited to see a host of new remixes coming my way. These new renditions come by way of remixers all across Europe and the Americas.
