The former has recently changed their name to Teen Runnings to smooth out the situation and guess what? I like that better. My favorite Japanese band, formerly known as Friends , has changed their name to Teen Runnings due to the whatever Brooklyn band that took the name. Why Does Everybody Do is of the same ilk - that is, sublime reverb-pop - as all their previous jams under the name Friends. Succulent and sweet, the straightfoward riffs are like fuzzy waterfalls, chugging along in perfect accord with the reverbed-out 'ooh oohs' of the doo-wop-pop vocals.
