Nightfeelings is the moniker of Teengirl Fantasy ’s Nick Weiss, who got a difficult task of remixing Ssion 's smash hit 'My Love Grows in the Dark'. And don't worry, he didn't ruin it.   Dovecote Records is re- releasing Ssion's 2011 album Bent this Summer, and the reissue includes remixes from Nightfeelings, Grimes and MNDR. mp3: Teen Daze - Fantasy Teen Daze is kicking off a European tour in April and 25 lucky attendees will get their hands on an exclusive 3-track tour ep. "Fantasy" is taken from the limited release. Teen Daze has said that the lush instrumental track is an ode to one of his favorite groups right now, Teengirl Fantasy. The EU Tour ep is expected to be released digitally in the near future.

The Worldwide Gallery Traxx 2012 Mixtape is based upon somewhat of an idiosyncratic concept. Featuring nine tracks from the likes of: Brenmar, M.E.S.H., Craxxxmurf, Dju Dju, Pictureplane, Asa Cossaboom, Slava, LILINTERNET, and o F F Love; the mix is built around samples from 100 telephone conversations with gallery receptionists across the world concerning said "Worldwide Gallery's" white cube interior. I'm not quite sure if this is meant to hold some deeper meaning (about receptionists?) or whether it is a stylistic choice but nonetheless, it creates an aura of mystery around the project. Generally, Wednesday is when the music things get going in Austin, and Tuesday is the changeover between the SXSW festival's Interactive portion, and the full-force band fare. And yet there were bands a plenty last night. "Tuesday is the new Wednesday," is something we heard someone say. The opening sortee in this week's official SXSW music showcases was last night's Pitchfork showcase at Mohawk. Among those on the bill were b3sci faves like Shlohmo, Schoolboy Q & one of our biggest must-sees for the festival, UK beatsman Star Slinger.
