So this arrived a few days ago in my inbox . It came down immediately as the sender read "Telemitry" and a tracklist was attached. The tracklist was ostensibly fantastic. Then came the opening day of the NFL, meaning, being European and thus at least 6 hours offset, that you are positively broken the next day. So this post was put off, also after an unusually nauseous and queasy Saturday, until it's ready to save your Monday! Or, at any rate, mine. There's more NFL tonight... save me. Tracklist. [...]

Nashville's electro-maniacs Telemitry resurrects the 'King of Pop' with this new remix of "Smooth Criminal". "Smooth Criminal (Telemitry remix)" | download Telemitry's Myspace

jwillys First track is the Telemitry remix of Michael Jackson . Great mix, though the looping of MJ's voice in Smooth Criminal sounds slightly strange. Don't get me wrong though, it totally works for the track. Second track is another remix from Soulwax , I guess I've scattered a couple of their remixes over the last few days. Their super old remix of Gossip is amazing, definitely kept the main elements of the original track including the bass beat I like so much. [...]

80's pop classic + the Nashvillian touch = not so crappy Monday after all. You know that Telemitry dude, right? He's seems like just a regular guy from Nashville, TN - music city - but in his spare time he pulls out remix after remix that'll blow your socks off. He first showed up on the blogosphere (that term is horrid, by the way, but for lack of a better one...) when he remixed the title track from Coldplay's 2008 album Viva La Vida... to great pleasure of fellow bloggers [...]

Fresh meat from your man Telemitry! This time turning his hand to the classic Smooth Criminal by Michael Jackson. What seems to be turning into something of a trademark, Telemitry makes everything harder and faster pulling out the best elements of the vocals and ending up with a dance masterpiece. Keep them coming my son! [...]

Bloc Party: approved by pikachu. The newest addition to the ever expanding, bulging catalogue of Bloc Party , who are getting written off by some, but for me they're just getting better and better, Mercury was released digitally yesterday and in physical formats (maxi CD, 73 and 123 vinyl) today, all with different tracklistings. The maxi CD features a host of remixes from good ol' Hervé , CSS - who, on a side note, are proving themselves to be quite adept remixers - and Flosstradamus . The [...]
Bloc Party are behaving very strangely. First we had Flux, a rapid-paced dancing shoes track that drove far deeper into disco city than previous songs. Then came Mercury and... well it's certainly had a mixed reception. Despite "Mercury" being a bit 'iffy', I was encouraged to find a great remix by Telemitry which I think nicely jazzes the whole thing up a little. Let's look forward to the single release on 11th August which comes bundled with remixes from CSS , Herve Is in Disarray and Flosstrodamus. Here is Bloc Party's new [...]
If we are talking about remixes in 2008; we are talking about Danger. Whilst the rest of the Ed Banger and Ekleroshock roster are spending their time partying, Danger keeps putting out great records and remixes. The result; he pretty much dominates my best remixes of 2008 list. 1. Sebastién Tellier - Divine (Danger Remix) Most remixes turn a good song into a better song (at least that is the idea), but here Danger turns an awful French song into a classic. Still can't understand the "Hot Chip" [...]

timothysaccenti So I felt all three of these tracks had really retro sounds, especially the first two. Okay, it might just be the second track, but it puts me in a retro groove anyways. First is the Telemitry remix of Bloc Party . I really like it, Telemitry managed to get this track to have a great sound along with it being amazingly upbeat. Second is a from a duo in Brazil that you should definitely check out called Database . Love the retro vibes this [...]

Who is this masked DJ, and where does he get such wonderfully inspired remix ideas? Telemitry garnered instant praise and respect with his kick-ass remix of Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" a while back, and now he's gone 'n done 'er again: The Telemitry Mercury-mix of Bloc Party's new single, "Mercury," is so far superior to the original track, they may as well just declare it an official remix and be done with it. It's almost like my (sort of) prayers from this past Sunday have been answered. Telemitry has managed [...]

I have to admit, I'm usually a little nervous about downloading from an email that is just a link with a song title, but and I'm even more hesitant to post something that I am pretty sure has been sent to just about every site in the blogsphere, but in this case I just had to put those worries aside. Even with my documented dislike of Bloc Party , I couldn't pass up the chance to share this remix of " Mercury " re-cut by Tennessee mixer Telemitry with the rest of the world. I really don't [...]
This is more like it. Although admittedly the quality of the original meant it couldn't be much worse. It's been a whole week (Time travels so fast!) since Bloc Party released their new track/single 'Mercury' and of course it's still shit. But that hasn't stopped Telemitry taking on the challenge of remixing it. It's pretty decent. The phrase 'polishing a turd' comes to mind, but it is alright, a lot more up-tempo and accessible than Bloc Party's attempt at whatever it is they were thinking. [...]

Bloc Party- Mercury (Telemitry Mix) (Link 2) (Link 3) Telemitry, take a long, exaggerated bow. For you are the true master. Where have you been for the last few weeks? Since the Telemitry remix of 'Viva La Vida' -which turned it into a sure-fire dance floor hit- I have been waiting for a similar challenge to come along. 'Mercury' is it, and this version of the song is easily superior to the Bloc Party version. Telemitry basically had the balls to do what Kele imagined. This is the definitve remix [...]

MIXTAPE EXCLUSIVE! Here is the incredible Telemitry remix of Bloc Party's new track 'Mercury'. Download it now before its everywhere! The Nashville producer proves that the previous remix of Coldplay's Viva La Vida was no one-off! Awesome: [...]
