Recorded in Nashville and produced by The Black Keys ’ Patrick Carney Young and Old is the title of Tennis ’ next album, due out via Fat Possum on 14 February 2012. Keeping our ears happy this side of the New Year however is new track ‘Origins’ which you can listen to below ahead of its release on 6 December through Forest Family. We also now have the first taste of the new material, with “Origins”. It’s a lot more polished, and I even hear a bluesy aspect that Carney had to have a tiny bit to do with. Cape Dory , the debut LP from married couple/nautically nectarous group Tennis dropped earlier this year with track after track of sweeter than fiction, sailing with no care in the world-type tunes. They announced a follow-up album - Young and Old - which was produced by Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney. Oh, and the album is dropping on Valentine's Day 2012. Go figure.
