When combined, the two opening tracks on Tera Melos' 2010 album Patagonian Rats make for one of the more pop-sensible and instantly likable moments in their discography. In this video, the stage-setting "So Occult" serves as the soundtrack for the introduction, which features a masked skateboarder bearing an upside-down cross on his shirt. Soon after he falls, the intro ends and "Kelly" begins, and things only get weirder from there. No less than a month removed from the release of two new studio albums, Japanese experimental rockers Boris are staying with plans an extensive North American tour. Supporting Attention: Please and Heavy Rocks , the trio will launch the trek in San Luis Obispo, CA on October 7th. A story popped up last night on Impose/Hot-Cheetos that Wavves had released a new song. This was soon revealed to be a hoax by none other than the hoax-masters themselves, experimental rock maniacs Tera Melos , who I just love love love, btw. Trafficking in such spot-on Wavves-style lo-fi pop-punk tropes as weed, convenience stores, and unrequited love, the song is called "7-113 and is about, well... It's all in good fun, of course. Sacramento genre-benders Tera Melos have released a new 51-minute-long track called "Echo On the Hills of Knebworth" in an effort to raise funds for an upcoming UK/Ireland jaunt this summer. Additionally, a full-length documentary of the band's recent co-headlining tour with Marnie Stern was shot by Terroreyes.tv for release later this year. The trailer includes snippets of behind-the-scenes road antics and live footage.

What starts as a caterwauling mess of guitar and drum noise lasts for about 8 minutes and starts materializing into actual full-blooded synthesis with four or five cresting attacks and recessions for the next 40 on this massive improv session the band used to fill up their surplus studio time after recording Patagonian Rats. "Echo on the Hills of Knebworth", as they're calling it, has some of the ferocity of their live shows, and plenty of space for heads to roll, literally, figura...

After finishing the tracking for their album Patagonian Rats , the fellas in Tera Melos had some extra studio time, and decided to record 51 minutes and 35 seconds of their stream of consciousness. The result is the noise/music-filled "Echo On The Hills of Knebworth," which, according to Tera Melos, "was a concentrated blur and will hopefully be the same for you." The band is asking for a minimum of $5, but feel free to "pay what you want," as your generosity is much appreciated and will directly contribute to Tera Melos touring UK/Ireland. [...]
