It's a been a minute since we've heard from L.A.'s Princeton, but the band's latest single takes a page from member Jesse Kivel's chillwave tropic-disco project Kisses - "To the Alps" frames live drums and horns with pastel synth tones and beachfront vibes that seem a more natural fit for the group than their previous chamber-pop incarnation. Everybody's favorite pop band, Princeton , is back with "To the Alps." The track will be featured on the A side of their forthcoming 73 on Hit City USA . It's still a mystery to me how Cocoon of Love and their two previous EPs went virtually unheard, but hopefully their second LP will be met with critical acclaim later this year.
