20. Robyn - Hang With Me A gentle, late summer electro gem. I didn't think much of the acoustic version, but this is about as perfect as pop gets. One of my favorite videos of the year, too. 19. Liam Lever - Welcome To Earth This may just actually become a real hit single in the future, but a music video was [...]
So if 2009 was ostensibly the year celebrating girls with synths dominated by the likes of La Roux (#8 in the US, yay!) and Little Boots, it could be surmised that 2010 is the boys' turn. We have the pristine pop of Hurts on one side. We have to a lesser degree, the silliness of an Ou Est Le Swimming Pool and now comes the Bang Bang Club. Coming to us from across the pond, this duo has nothing but pure pop on their minds and they have no qualms about sharing their hopes and dreams with all of us. [...]
Hands down one of the best singles of the year. And now it has a video! Not sure what all the paint means, but it's cool nonetheless. Watch out for these guys. They're set to take off.

Back in early March , I got slapped with a dose of new tuneage from The Bang Bang Club . Hitting me with their first official single, Chemistry (and it's subsequent remixes) , I legitimately fell hard and fast for this poptastic duo. Seriously, the Seamus Haji mix of the track is/was one of most played tracks from the past month plus, and it never fails to make me toss out a few furious fist pumps when the [...]
![Remix Roundup Vol. 19 / 4.2.10 / [RAC, Penguin Prison, Neon Trees, Hot Chip ...]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/2449575_lg.jpg)
You ask, you receive. Remixes are back with more reading for your pleasure! Crank that volume knob and dive in! ♫ Penguin Prison - Worse It Gets (RAC Mix) / Damn. Jams don't get much fresher than this. I haven't heard the original yet but I couldn't wait another moment to share this slice of audio perfection. Penguin Prison and RAC are both firing on all cylinders on this buttery smooth funk fest. This jam could cure depression if administered in daily doses. For reals. ♫ Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes - Home (RAC Mix) [...]

"We were fighting for the sake of it" Songs like this are the reason that I still love doing this blog. The Bang Bang Club are a new UK duo releasing this track as their debut single on May 3rd. Chemistry is a perfect pop song. In fact, I'd go as far to say that it instantly entered my hall of fame the very first time I heard it. It's everything I love in music. Take some Delays, add a bit of the Ark and Protocol, and you've got an idea what this sounds [...]

we were fighting for the sake of it, i really think we might be killing it ♫ The Bang Bang Club - Chemistry Leave your anti-goodtimes baggage at the door 'cause this party is strictly for those with an official "Sing Along And Dance Out Loud" pass. I can't write too much about them 'cause I'm kinda busy pulling the sweetest dance moves you will never see so I'll let their press release take over: The Bang Bang Club are a male synth-pop due who genuinely don't sound like any [...]

The Bang Bang Club will open for business on 3 May, with the release of their debut single, Chemistry . The Bang Bang Club, in fact, is not a real club, but if it was, it'd be a bloody good one. It's not a tribute to the group of apartheid photographers with whom they share their name. In truth, they just liked the word 'bang'. The band's long gestation began when John (vocals) and David (synths) met at auditions for another act. Instantly becoming friends, within months they'd formed the band Protocol, been signed by [...]

It's been a while since I've featured a band with the preface of "introducing". This morning, we were gifted with the perfect opportunity to do so when the debut single from The Bang Bang Club popped up in our inbox. TBBC is as much a band as it is a philosophy of sorts; fusing fashion, music and art. Prior to the formation of their collaborative effort, the blokes formed The House of [...]

"DANKOSCHON!" ( Quote Dan Boeckner) Just a few Pics from Handsome Furs Live gig @ Berlins Bang Bang Club. Playing without Alexie's normal Synth and Drum Machine this Husband Wife Due from Montreal Canada still preformed a Solid show that had its moments. UK Indie group Scanners opened proceedings and with an impressive performance, one to look out for in the near future.... Highlights from the Handsome Furs Sent [...]
