The highly anticipated sophomore record from the Italian quartet, The Banshee, will be released on September 5th. The Banshee , a band from Genova, Italy seems to be hitting it pretty big. Probably not as big over here as it is in the UK, though nothing ever hits it big here over the Atlantic unless it's half naked or heavily produced. If I had to give this band a genre it'd probably be around indie post-punk but it's just not the same. It could be the Italian influence. Overmood did a good job by handling out their latest lo-fi electropoppy workover for Post-Punk The Banshee 's first single "Kicks Up" from their new Ep (dated the streets yesterday).
