Australian disco producer Beaumont has been really quiet since his last EP 'Skyline', well that's about to change as he's coming out of his self-imposed hiatus with a new single 'Vampire' featuring vocals from Elle Pierre and the single comes with a remix from UK house and disco producer Clancy. Release: TBA.
One of our favorites, London artist Clancy that we've posted about several times before, most recently earlier this month here for his excellent Little Dragon remix is back. This time he sent us his latest remix for Beaumont's track "Vampire" and it's another winner. Such a great jam! This month we start with a rather minimal yet paradoxically large 'Zone' by Elgato, raising the bpm from 120 to 150, and finishing off again with a masterful Lone track from his album Galaxy Garden, featuring Machinedrum on the vocals. We also have features from 3 other outstanding albums, including Actress' R.I.P , Distal's Civilization , and Lazer Sword's Memory , all highly recommended. Since 20112s ' Adrenalin EP ' Hotflush Recordings owner Paul Rose aka Scuba has most definitely embraced the 802s, which for someone who built a label on underground dubstep and bass sounds is quite a risky departure, has it worked?
