Last week the Gothenburg band The Berndt released their debut album "GBGBG". My expectations were rather high before the release, but I wasn't disappointed. Charming and characteristic is the least I can say about The Berndt's energic punk-pop-indie. With their crazy playfulness, catchy sound and of course Emil Lundin's special voice, this really is a unique band. "Hurried Feathers" practically throbs and pulses with energy which is fitting from a band that loves doing live shows and getting folks up and dancing. The Berndt are feverishly working away at their new record. It was rumoured to be out in the spring of 2009 but no sight of it yet. So for now let's listen to two tracks from their 2008 release. 8 Bits Walked For The Future
