Filed under: News SacredSoul.us Congrats to The Cult vocalist Ian Astbury and The Black Ryder singer/bassist Aimee Nash who got married in Las Vegas over the holiday weekend (May 26). The musicians exchanged vows at the Little Church of the West, where Angelina Jolie, Richard Gere and Judy Garland have also walked down the aisle.

It was one hot birthday bash for vocalist/guitarist and beautiful Aimee Nash of The Black Ryder.  The Aussies brought its dreamy psych rock back to The Echo where I saw them last.  Nash's better half, Scott Von Ryper (vocals/guitar), shared vocal duties as he went in and out of the hazy lights, black hair swaying.  Photos by Debi Del Grande. SXSW - Friday, March 16 Ominous tones suffuse the corner of Red River and Sixth this afternoon. At the no-longer-named Emo's Annex, the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival is in full swing. The guttural primal screams, pounding bass and speed guitar licks complemented the nearby Green Zone with its motto of "Free Range Against The Machine." SF Popfest kicked off last Wednesday with a diverse night of winning acts.
