The Bridal Shop - Fragments Flaming Stars - Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye Black Cab - Combat Boots
Şu içimdeki dizginlenemeyen İsveç sevgisi nedir bilmiyorum. The Bridal Shop İsveçli bir grup ve özetle New Order'ın içine melankoli kaçmış bir tarzda büyüleyici bir müzik yapılarlar. New Order'dan tanıdığımız elektronik ritimlerin shoegaze atmosferiyle bütünleşmesi ve sizi alıp uzak diyarlara sürüklemesi. Dışarıda gürül gürül akan bir dünya, şehirler, sokaklar, isyanlar, devrimler, Amerikan Baharı, Brookly'den Son Çıkış, kadınlar, tarifsiz müzikler, çiçek, böcek, aşk diyorum. Hey ben kime diyorum.. The Bridal Shop - Ideal State

Güneş görünmedi. Zaman zaman kış güneşinin ışıkları sızdı, uzaktaki bulutların arasından. Mavi, mor, bulut parçaları. Bir sahne gibiydi kent : Sızan ışıkların altında, kalabalık bir tiyatro oyunu oynanıyordu sanki. Doluydu kaldırımlar, her yere giden bir yığın insan. Sahneye , bilinmez bir yerden ışık sızıyordu. Alacakaranlıktan daha aydınlık bir gün. The Bridal Shop - Fragments
This is an ever changing and (hopefully) expanding list of some of the songs I have mentioned before in this blog or simply stuff I have found somewhere on the web that I find interesting, but have no time to write about. All files have been found somewhere in cyberspace (and NONE of them have uploaded by me, so I cannot help you with any requests you might have - just keep returning and something new might pop up), so they will be available until the artists, record labels, fans, whatever decide to remove them. Thanks to a few readers, [...]

Cover Art for The Bridal Shop - From Seas EP Teen Daze has done it again by holding down some kind of coastal dream pop sound that is full of lush synth work, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I found The Bridal Shop by trying to find a Tough Alliance song that I wanted but no luck, I love when a good digital retailer sets up trails that makes you check out 10 or so new bands. Ariel Pink steps it up like The [...]

As always, true to our 4-5 fans that are listening to us on Poplie Radio , another show came to an end. Yet again, all kind of new bands took over the show for 2 hours of endless indie tunes. Stay tuned here and see you all next time! [download link of the show below] Download.Show

The Bridal Shop : In Fragments ( Plastilina ) Immersing yourself slowly into the most affecting and impacting release of the year and, at some point, finding out you're the captive of a testament... The Bridal Shop has never been - and will never again be- so reflective, so desperate, so dramatic, and still, so POP, lively & obsessive !!! We'll never miss them cos' we'll never stop spinning them over and over again

The Morning Paper is mainly a one-man shoegaze project by David Kyhlberg. After making his EP Send Your Cards available on the good old p2p program Soulseek in 2004, the songs managed to find their way to people at Club AC30 in London who then released the track "Charades" on a split. Despite this achievement, David didn't record any new music for quite a while after moving from Malmö to Stockholm in 2005. It wasn't until he met his current co-collaborators Daniel and Ida (who have their own band, The Bridal Shop ) that David found his way back to making music. After [...]

Here's the fourth installment of the only music-blog-based global initiative that I know of, Music Pact Alliance, which is best thought of as an indie-fied United Nations: hipsters tweaking their perfectly groomed 'staches and fluffing their v-necked chest hair whilst leading a discussion on the best music the world has to offer. As the first MAP of the new year, this edition aims (indirectly) as a guide for bands to watch for 2009. Whether you're from Brooklyn or the Balkans, you'll want to check out this list. As Nathaniel so eloquently put it last month: "Three [...]

Every month on the 15th, we present Music Alliance Pact here on Eardrums. 21 music blogs from 21 countries all over the world present their favourite band from their own country. Eardrums represents Norway. Thanks to The Pop Cop -blog for the initiative. Here are this months MAP-bands: AMERICA – I Guess I’m Floating Blind Man’s Colour – Jimmy Dove Blind Man’s [...]
AMERICA – I Guess I’m Floating Blind Man’s Colour – Jimmy Dove Blind Man’s Colour came on our radar in late ‘08 with three excellent Animal Collective covers. With their debut album, Season Dreaming, coming out sometime in early ‘09 and Jimmy Dove as their first explosive single, they’ve got a good chance of becoming my favorite find of 2009 less than one month in. They’ve also got a free EP called Rainbow [...]
