Dopo la bella Toe Jam, accompagnata da un video geniale , ecco il nuovo singolo: si intitola Seattle, cantata dalla cantautrice folk inglese Emmy The Great e accompagnata da un altro bellissimo video.

Norman Cook (AKA Fatboy Slim) has a new project involving a number of other high profile guests and he's calling it Brighton Port Authority. Here we have a song called "Seattle" with rising British star Emmy the Great on vocals. The sentiments of the song capture how many people must have been feeling Wednesday after the election.
The Brighton Port Authority has released a new video for their song "Seattle" featuring Emmy the Great. The video production technique is subtle and captivating, the song is soothing and swingin', and I couldn't think of a better song to listen to in the wake of this historic election. Damn it's been an annoying few days. I finally got my new computer put together with the help of an awesome friend and was looking forward to recording some bitchin' tunes. However, I ran into a problem. For some reason if I connect my turntable to my computer via the line-in connection, this happens . While bumming around on youtube this morning, a friend alerted me to an amusing video by the Brighton Port Authority, a new collaboration between rock icon David Byrne and the ever-cool Fatboy Slim. What's entertaining about the video for "Toe Jam" is the artistic and comical use of censor bars on the nude dancers. I'll let you check that out. If David Byrne hasn't proven that he is the coolest guy in the world by now, then he certainly is starting to solidify it with his most recent endeavor. The former Talking Heads front man joined forces with Fatboy Slim on a new song called Toe Jam. The vocals are vintage Byrne with some 2008 flavor. If this guy has ever done wrong, I haven't seen it. Here's a happy, happy summertime jam from The Brighton Port Authority (which is what Norman Cook calls himself when he doesn't want to be his other people) with David Byrne (who is the same guy).
