Some of the best news to hit the Twin Cities so far in 2011 is Theft of the Common Good the new LP from No Bird Sing . (Like the warmer weather wasn't good enough!) The trio plans to release the album on April 29 in coordination with a release show at The Cedar with Kill the Vultures and Kristoff Krane. the sea-ders - "for your information" (download) The Sea-Ders (later known as the Cedars ) were a garage pop/psychedelic rock band from Lebanon in the mid to late '602s. BLK JKS made their first appearance in MPLS last night at the Cedar Cultural Center as part of the Global Roots Festival . BLK JKS is a South African band that fuses jazz with a psychedelic rock sound layered in African rhythmic influences that can be seen from the wailing drummer and the rest of this band in this video of the band performing their song Molalatladi .
