Wish I had more time to give you some more info about these tracks, but I would say: Have a listen to some of these more "unknown" producers and give them some love if you're diggin it! For nearly two decades, the Chemical Brothers "mind-blowing" audiovisual live show has played to packed houses and festivals across the globe. But it has never been documented on film or ever released on a CD. The Live CD is special in electronic circles. For us, it started with Vitalic, then Daft Punk and finally with Justice - and it only seems fitting that the Chemical Brothers are the next act to try and bottle their live performance and, ultimately, do live show justice. In 2011, at the iconic Fuji Rock Festival in Japan, The Chemical Brothers [...]

The Chemical Brothers have been messing with our heads for two decades. Just last year, they were nominated for a handful of awards for their soundtrack to the film Hanna. You might remember their original music for Fight Club under their old name, The Dust Brothers. While they were really game-changing in late 90s and early 2000s, the energy in the Chemical Brothers live show hasn't gone anywhere. Refusing to cop out and update with the times, the Brothers still perform their show with cases upon cases of manually triggered synth lines and samples - a rare art form [...]

What if i told you that I have one in the batters box and another on deck... just waiting there patiently, ready to slap you in the face with this waffle here (Baseball reference in 2012- check). BTW, this waffle is made of plastic and it might hurt. Tis Friday folks. Nurd On. For more jams or by any of these artists use the 'tags' links at the bottom of the post! Follow @JoelAlbers on [...]

Tonight marks the first ever WINTER concert at Red Rocks. With that in mind, why wouldn't it snow. Last night Atmosphere opened up for Brother Ali at the Ogden and tonight he will be headlining the Icelantic Winter with Common and despite the fierce elements, the show is SOLD OUT! Bundle up and wear your snow boots, because the ramps are a tad slick. Tonight's event may have sent a precedent for future winter shows at Red Rocks and if you put on the show, people will come. If you've ever witnessed a Chemical Brothers live show it's probably coincided without about 40 units of alcohol, half a foot of mud and a few other 'components'. As much as we love swampily swaying to some of the finest dance music of the last twenty years, we (like most CB's audience members) have always been left thinking "That was amazing but I'm afraid I'm unable to recount any details other than at one point I was chanting HEY BOY HEY GIRL for what seemed like half an hour".
