In true Blah Blah Blah tradition we have spent days and days hunched over our decks carefully crafting our 4th Birthday mix - WeAre4. This mix probably took more days than initially planned however we are really pleased with the results, and would probably go as far as to say this is one of our best mixes to date, a bold claim I know. WeAre4 starts at a sedately thoughtful 110bpm before shamelessly dropping its trousers and leaving nothing to the imagination as it bangs out some main room destroyers before settling back down and letting you know that it [...]

Tweet Over the weekend I found myself surprisingly glued to the BBC's coverage of Glastonbury. I'd been a little ambivalent before, with most of my interest focused on the smaller stages where no cameras where present, the main stage headliners were an uninspiring prospect and proved as such. However, the beeb did dish up some fine video content over the course of the weekend, much of which can be replayed on the iPlayer or YouTube . Biffy Clyro: [...]
Glastonbury is over and done with for another two years, but thanks to the brilliant BBC coverage we were all able to enjoy a lot of the weekend's action from the comfort of our respective couches. Much of the weekend's antics isn't online yet but here are some of the highlights from across the weekend… [...]

These guys have played every major festival we've covered so far this year, but proved to be very succesful at being elusive, they consistently managed to fly under the radar, no decent videos ever showed up, but not this time... definitely one I'll be watching for more this week. Read more »
Another great set, this one from The Chemical Brothers, staging a massive light show and huge electronic beat with their song, "Don't Think".

Guerra. Fiesta. Música... Las palabras claves de este video.

You won't catch the Stanton Warriors slacking on any timely or long awaited call-backs I tell ya that! However, if the only exceptions of death and a natural disaster prevent someone from not replying back swiftly, then I might have to be a little less forgiving. Just thank God that the Stanton Warriors are here to kick away any grievance troubles into touch eventually. A full thumbs up for this one Brothers & Sisters! THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS vs. STANTON WARRIORS – Saturate (Stanton Warriors Remix)

It's been four years since Digitalism released their debut, Idealism. At that time they were one of a handful of pioneers developing the hybrid of indie and dance music and Idealism stands as an important milestone in the progression of what became known as 'nu-rave'. Since then the genre notoriously expanded, diluted and collapsed under the weight of weak immitators and heavy criticism from it's initial supporters. Four years on and everything has changed in the world around them, do Digitalism have what it takes to keep up? The first thing [...]

Happy Monday guys... and I say that in the most sarcastic way possible. The weekend flew by pretty quickly and I was locked up every minute of it doing work for my summer courses, and now, well I'm back to school till Friday. Fortunately I was able to put together a playlist that would keep my mind going so I could stop fantasizing about rollerskating down my street in this nice Toronto weather we are having lately, and I thought I would share a few songs to get you guys through the week. These pretty much sum up my favorite [...]

After another year of fantastic artists, venue and weather Rockness shall not be quickly forgotten in the minds of the thousands of people who travelled miles to the banks of Loch Ness just outside Inverness. Here is how Crack in the Road saw as the highlights of the weekend. Friday: Although the Main Stage headliners Kasabian had by far the largest support I feel that comparative new boys Two Door Cinema Club were the biggest surprise of the first day. Although looking a bit daunted initially at the prospects of [...]
Tom Rowlands , better known as one half of The Chemical Brothers , has worked his galvanizing magic on the stems from I Break Horses' ' Hearts '. As the video illustrates, that pumped-up bass ostinato perfectly depicts the frenzy of galloping. You can download the mp3 after the jump. I Break Horses début album Hearts is released August 15th in [...]

Remember Lily Allen ? Of course you do. The temperamental star of pop hits such as "Shine" is all grown up and about to get married on Saturday to a bloke named Sam Cooper. Allen, who has found success recently as a fashion designer, has extremely discerning tastes when it comes to music, and she's hired 12-year-old DJ Ted at the Controls (a.k.a Ted Lavender) to rock the decks at her wedding reception. "I do a lot of practicing in my bedroom and I don't get nervous, except at the beginning," he told Britain's [...]

As the festival season of 2011 begins, the first of the big players, Rockness, has been regarded by many via social-networking sites to have a line-up superior to several of their competitors, and personally I'd be inclined to agree. I myself am somewhat of a Rockness veteran, traveling yearly from Orkney to the glorious banks of Loch Ness and being a proud owner of all the memorabilia available I cannot praise the atmosphere, the acts and the venue enough. Sticking in part to their dance roots which began in 2006 with mega-headliners The Chemical Brothers (who also played in 2007) [...]
