"If you ever needed proof that The Cribs are, in essence, a punk band you have it here..." The Cribs | In The Belly Of the Brazen Bull In the style of the Leeds three-piece themselves, we're gonna lay it out straight: The Cribs' new album, In the Belly of the Brazen Bull , is nothing short of great. Their last album, 2009's Ignore The Ignorant, which featured Johnny Marr of the Smiths and Modest Mouse as their guitarist, showed the softer side of the band, and although it was received [...]

Hace más o menos un mes, The Cribs estrenó una canción llamada " Chi-Town ", de su próximo disco In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull . Ahora nos presentan " Come On, Be A No-One ", un track producido por Dave Fridmann, mejor conocido por haber sido responsable de algunas de los himnos de Flaming Lips y Mercury Rev. A ver qué les parece.

It's hard not to love Will Young , and here he is with this weird video featuring loads of dogs. I'm not sure what the meaning is but it makes for interesting viewing. If you like Will Young, and dogs, then this is definitely for you. Will Young - Come On on MUZU .
All credit goes to our friend Aled at IndiePopQueen for introducing us to the tender new video from England's Will Young, who was the very first winner (2002) of the Idol franchise before it was even known as such. The Chris Sweeney directed clip can only be described as adorable, and I say that in [...]

Tweet New Manhattan are like an unsigned ball of indie perfection. One listen through " Come On " and I was already referring to them as a stripped down version of The Strokes meets the younger and even more angsty We Were Promised Jetpacks . By about the sixth listen I put all comparisons aside, "These guys are fucking good" is about all that's really needed to express what New [...]

New Manhattan are a band I think we'll be hearing a lot more from in the not so distant future. The London four-piece (at least from the looks of that photo) sort of walk that transatlantic line of post-millennial guitar rock, it's a little bit Strokes, it's a little bit Arctic Monkeys or maybe Maccabees or about a billion other UK bands; but the mix of sounds that New Manhattan have pieced together on a track like "Come On" (excerpted from the band's three track Bandcamp demo) definitely have us interested and wanting to hear more. Three songs [...]
![[Introducing] – Melted Toys](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3579982_lg.jpg)
Tweet San Francisco's Melted Toys are a tough band to pin down. They're certainly a shoegaze band, but their debut EP "Washed And Dried" explores such a variety of sounds within the mandatory, echoing trimmings of that genre that it's not immediately clear just what form this three piece will settle on when they get round to writing their first full length, if they settle at all. Opening track "Come On" is part jangle pop, part dream pop, an inviting haze that lulls you gently into [...]

I make no claims as to the personal hygiene or photographic representation of The Silversmiths . I will say however, that it would be a damn shame not to kick the tires on their hirsute and debut flow-rific single, Come On , a track cherrypicked from their not-to-be-neglected debut, A Tandem of Giants . Name checking verité and carrot cake? Come on now ! MP3 : The Silversmiths - Come On

my time spent in atlanta spewed forth a ton of life changes aka the kids, and career change, but sadly only gave me one artist/band that i would consider myself a fan of. to be fair, i didnt see many shows, thus not seeing catching the local talent, but i did check out a lot of atlanta bands. sure there are some good ones, dont make me name em, but none of em really clicked with me. that one special guy? mr ben trickey . saw him a few years ago open up for patterson hood, i believe it [...]

Come On - Don't Walk on the Kitchen Floor (mp3) ( buy ) Takes three seconds to figure out exactly when and where this comes from. But who? What does it take to go from one of the bands of CBGB's " second Golden Era " to " one of the most forgotten bands of the late-'70s New York punk and new wave scene." (In the internet age, "most forgotten" almost sounds like an achievement.) Come On ( myspace ) were contemporaries of the Talking Heads, and guitarist George [...]
