I discovered The Dead Trees just last week when I heard that they would be the opening band on the Albert Hammond Jr. tour . This Boston band creates music which is a particularly upbeat blend of Americana and folk that is both catchy and enervating - it's hard to listen without doing a bit of toe-tapping. The newbie digital music service Amie Street is about to head out on its first ever tour. Three of their most popular artists will be co-headlining the event that will take place in the artists respective cities. The Dead Trees will be representing Boston, The Epochs will be representing New York City and Middle Distance Runner will be representing DC.
