Who doesn't love The Distillers? The correct answer is no one. If you've never heard this band, I really suggest you buy a CD straight away . They have a sort of energy that is rarely found in a modern punk band, largely contributed to by Brody Dalle, the lead singer. Possibly Tim Armstrong's influence on her? The silhouettes of palm trees and the outlines of those mountains are a familiar site in Palm Desert, California, near where I lived for over 20 years and where Indie Mom grew up.
