Animals are amazing. This woman has trained her golden retriever to play the piano. She plays a note on her whistle and the dog plays the note back to her on its electric keyboard on the ground, which seems to have giant dog keys for canine play. Maybe she wasn't the first to think up dog piano playing, but this is the first time I've seen it and this dog is impressive. More talented than me, probably.

A Giant Dog released their debut full-length album earlier this year via Tic Tac totally. It is the shit. One of my favorite records of 2012. It plays like the soundtrack to a fist fight. At a party. Our condolences to Terry Schumaker , whose beloved Yoda passed away last week at 15. Just last June, the 1.8 lb Chihuahua / Chinese Crested Mix won first place in Petaluma 's World's Ugliest Dog Contest . Even before that she was well-loved by her owner, Terry , who had found her abandoned behind an apartment building and took her in.
