Lilies on Mars are Lisa Masia and Marina Cristofalo, two musical collaborators who met over ten years ago in Sardinia, where other music projects lead to the formation of Lilies on Mars in August 2008. This past Friday, London dubstep producer Dream (Rowan Jones) finally digitally released his debut EP "I Am Dream, Part 1" on X147 Records . With this release came the release of the much-anticipated "Dub Runner". This track has been played by the likes of Skream and Benga, Flux Pavilion, Foreign Beggars, etc both live and on several BBC Radio 1 shows. "Dub Runner" is friggin' HUGE. Once you find out that Mike Tucker, the producer behind Blood Diamonds, is a 21-year-old video game design student, you can't help but notice that his complex musical amalgamations seem as though they've been influenced by his other vocation.
