
San Francisco's The Dry Spells have been gathering their debut album, Too Soon For Flowers, for release on August 11th. Too Soon For Flowers was recorded on analog tape at Louder Studios by Tim Green (Melvins, Joanna Newsom, Howlin' Rain, Monotonix, Sleater-Kinney).The album is a favorite of NPR's Bob Boilen and he's featuring their song "Black Is the Color," on this week's edition of All Songs Considered.
