Well this is a turn up for the books. Something exciting musically is actually happening in Suffolk! July 12-15th sees the return of Latitude festival which is held at Henham Park in the olde world seaside town of Southwold. Acts confirmed to play at the festival so far are Arcade Fire, Damien Rice, The Good, The Bad & The Queen, Wilco , CSS, The Rapture, The National, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, The Magic Numbers, Midlake, The Gotan Project and Explosions In The Sky. I haven't posted anything recently because I haven't felt that excited about anything I've heard. I like the new Arcade Fire album, Neon Bible , a lot, but so much has been written about the band and the album, both online and in the mainstream press, that there hasn't been much to say. Fort Rox was a pleasant and rather unusual way to spend a saturday afternoon in Newhaven. There was rain (but not much) and there was sunshine.
