Its no surprise that Purity Ring have seriously started to build a huge buzz despite only having released 3 songs. The canadian ghostly-synthpop duo have now what seems to be a total of 4 songs... [[ This is a content summary only. Visit my website for full links, other content, and more! ]]

Yesterday we threw up a post discussing Porter Robinson's new dirty concoction, the Spitfire EP. Standing alone, this EP would be one of the bigger releases this year given that every song he chose is absolute chaos in the best way possible. Then Kill The Noise came along, took the title track, and transformed it into a literal dubstep blackhole. Nobody can escape the raw power he drops. This isn't just a song, it is a force. Buckle up, we're in for a bumpy ride. Porter Robinson- Spitfire (Kill The Noise Remix) [...]

Messy Sparkles - Paper Straws "I feel so scared" is repeatedly chanted throughout the beginning of this song. Not a thing can compare to the vulnerability that you hear in Messy Sparkles' "Paper Straws". A wall of heavy distorted waves eventually come crashing in; suddenly burying the song to a haul, then starts again bringing things higher with a hopeful synth line. Jealov - DCW Dreamy hip hop is the best described genre of mastermind Jealov . He manages to create arranged build-ups naturally throughout his music. Through these juxtapositions, Jealov combines a soft atmosphere around a dark subject. At first listen the ambient "DCW" suddenly becomes a true hip hop beat without much realization. One of my faithful Needle Drops sent this track to me with little to no explanation. In retrospect, I guess it didn't really need one. Sexiness speaks for itself. It comes from an up-and-coming Russian outfit, D-Pulse . "Velocity of Love" is their latest single, and plays music hopscotch with French house, 80s pop, and sensual light rock hits. It's not a meld you hear every day, but I can make a close comparison to CFCF's Continent . Dig on the single below, and look for it [...]
We here around THE CULTURE OF ME were once obsessed with all things relating to Sassy and Dirt magazines. And while those titles are long gone, the sentiment of how they covered the culture industries has indeed left its mark on writers and culture vultures everywhere. It is because of that influence that we are [...]

Filed under: Electronic , Canada , New Releases After holing up in his London flat for more than year to complete 'Swim,' the hotly anticipated follow-up to his Polaris Music Prize-winning album 'Andorra,' Daniel Snaith, mastermind behind Caribou , is saying goodbye to his reclusive lifestyle. Again. "I have this kind of bi-polar life," he tells Spinner on the line from the UK. "When I'm at home I'm really kind of isolated making music, and then we tour loads. I love both extremes: being by myself [...]

Κυρίες και κύριοι, ladies and gentlemen, mesdames et messieurs.. καλωσήλθατε στον τρίτο διαγωνισμό της εναλλακτικής Eurovision ! Gosh, is that another month gone already? Looks like it has, so it's time for another Music Alliance Pact, where the world's blogs come to The Daily Growl, courtesy of the hard work of MAP organiser Jason Pop Cop. This month he's outdone himself by providing HTML script to make ...

Here's March's edition of the Music Alliance Pact. For those of you who don't know about MAP, it's a collection of music blogs from around the world who band together once a month to shed light on up-and-comers from their home countries. It's sort of like the WTO without the human rights violations. This month we've welcomed French blog SoundNation and Denmark's All Scandinavian to bring the total participation to 24 nations. Our contribution this month includes a beautiful, budding track from Florida-based Viernes . Nathaniel's decree [...]

Credo proprio che la prossima volta farò un pdf a parte. Se avete idee e suggerimenti scrivete pure nei commenti. Per scaricare l'intera playlist in un [...]
