Parker Lewis ' song "X-mas Carol, NYC" is buried in my Swedish Christmas mix but it really deserves it's own post. According to the "fan run" yet highly informative myspace site for The Capstan Shafts , Dean Wells has written a song for the Gothenburg indie pop band The Faintest Ideas . The song is called "Lose the Downside" and sounds like a classic Capstan Shafts' tune. Immediately infectious; literary, melancholy and mysterious lyrics; and it clocks in at a little over a minute.
