The Felice Brothers recently released first track off their new LP ' Celebration, Florida ' entitled ' Ponzi '. The album will arrive May 10th & the band will be touring this album throughout the summer with Shovels & Rope. Ponzi has a little bit of a different sound from the normal Felice Brothers fare. The sound is a little more full from the normal stripped down nature of their music. Its got a choir background harmony, a smooth bassline, and a very epically big electronic finish (tough to explain...just listen). [...]

The Felice Brothers have announced that they have signed with Fat Possum Records , home of Andrew Bird, The Walkmen, and Wavves, among many others. The band will release their fifth full-length album and Fat Possum debut later this spring. More news on the upcoming album will be confirmed shortly.
Big news about the band from Upstate NY: The Felice Brothers got signed to Fat Possum records and will release a new full length record later this spring. They're hitting the road, too. I've seen the band live a few times and can say they know how to put on a show. Their version of Americana translates well on stage.
