Eleanor Friedberger may be best known as one half of the brother/sister indie pop-rock duo The Fiery Furnaces , but this July will mark a new direction for the Brooklyn-based musician. Not to be outdone by her more ambitious brother, Eleanor Friedberger – one half of the art pop duo Fiery Furnaces – will release her first solo album on Tuesday, July 12. I haven't heard the voice of Eleanor Friedberger since the 2009 Fiery Furnaces album Take Me Around Again . That's too long if you ask me!
