Swede duo First Aid Kit have unveiled they're set to embark on a headline UK tour later this year. Stopping off in London before a handful of festival appearances this summer, the sisterly twopiece will be back in November for shows in Manchester, Glasgow, Bristol and London once again. Steve Double Whenever an old/classic album is reissued these days - which is pretty much every day - it's inevitably advertised as having been remastered, and it's assumed that that's a good thing. And not unreasonably - when a lot of these albums were originally released on compact disc, they were poorly converted from analog to digital and could generally sound thin/quiet/uninspiring. The Swedish festival Way Out West have launched something called the "Way Out West Sessions", where they record a session and interview with one of the acts from the festival. The first volume of the series is with the Swedish folk act First Aid Kit who perform their beautiful single "Emmylou" in Stockholm. The Söderberg sisters turn in an excellent performance and the video is beautifully shot. Go ahead and watch the session below, and if you wanna skip the interview just jump to 3.44 in the video.
