I couldn't be more happy to stumble across this upload as I sit outside in thirty degree heat, the added ambience of crickets turn up the late night outdoor vibes of this to the max. Two Armadillos is the collaboration between Martin Dawson and Secret Sundaze founder Giles Smith . Discerning house heads may be familiar with their other releases that have been in consistent supply since 2007. Golden Age Thinking however is the first time Two Armadillos will be releasing on their self titled label, in celebration of a [...]

Last week we posted a really cool, and really, really gross trailer for Aborted's new album, Global Flatline; now the title track from the album has been released as the first single. I think it's pretty good, although I'm not in love with it or anything. But judging by the comments section on our last [...]
Last night, after a trip down to DC, I headed straight up to Philly's Danger Danger to catch "exploding in popularity really fucking quickly" pop-punk act The Menzingers. It's been over 2 years since I last been to Danger, and the spot hasn't changed one bit.The Arteries:I missed openers Leagues Apart, but was able to catch UK's The Arteries, and holy shit did they put on a good show. I
Aborted are one of those bands I honestly have never listened to enough to have an opinion about their music, but the fact that their upcoming release, Global Flatline, features guest appearances from the likes of The Black Dahlia Murder's Trevor Strnad, Misery Index's Jason Netherton, and Rotten Sound's Keiijo Niinima means that my interest is now [...]

Culprate - Airline [...]
Culprate, a one man-band electronic/experimental band signed to Dubsaw records, just released his maniacal album, Flatline . I actually have no idea who Culprate is, name-wise, he's a mystery from Watford, England. The only real thing that is not a mystery to me is the man's music. Void of vocals besides the very rare sprinkle of sample voices like on "Curious George," which for brief moments seems like Culprate's insane version of Madison Avenue's "Don't Call Me Baby" Spawned in 2008 from the electronic depths of England, the "experimental" label fits Culprate quite well. I feel as [...]
It's been a long time trusty readers, and for that, I apologize. Shit has been insane over here. I wound up buying a new car, the next day shattering both my forearm bones at The Bouncing Souls show, and then being hospitalized for a few days for surgery to put some metal plates in, moving to a new apartment (shoutout to all my family and friends who moved me since I can't lift shit), and

Jumping Jesus on a pogo stick, I've been busy! Car breakdowns, my birthday... it's been tough to post as of late. But I still <3 you all, and I also love the Holy Mess. Hence why I might be catching them tomorrow, and why I saw them last Tuesday at Philly's Fire.Ah, Horse HockeyI've never heard of these guys before, but I definitely was digging their set. They played that Philly style
