Late last year at a show, The Gaslight Anthem offered up a special festive treat for fans, a cover of The Who's 1971 released "Baba O'Riley". Now whilst that was great for the fans at the show us people not there were left to watch videos on Youtube and maybe just think, "that's cool", but today as BPM point out the band have upped a sound-board quality recording complete with footage taken at the show! Earlier today Metallica announced that they are launching a two-day festival in Atlantic City,NJ called Orion Music Festival. The festival will take place on June 23 - 24 2012 with the band headlining both nights of the event. The band also revealed that they will perform The Black Album in its entirety during one of the two nights. According to an update on the band's twitter , The Gaslight Anthem will be heading to Nashville, TN next week to begin recording their major-label debut. The band signed to Mercury Records earlier this year . The forthcoming record will follow-up the band's 2010 full-length, American Slang .
