I bring you Conway , a young chap hailing from London, ON and a friend of DOCKSTA favourites, TGCHU! Currently, he is on a coast to coast Canadian tour as the official DJ for HP and Beats By Dre Headphones. After his tour is complete, he'll return back home and DJ London's biggest and hottest Wednesday Electro Night. So keep an eye out for this one, I'm sure he'll be in or around your area sometime in the near future. For now though, you can take a listen to [...]
![Remix Roundup Vol. 27 – 10.1.2010 / Joel and Scott present [Robyn, Memory Tapes, The Killers, and more!]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/2862882_lg.jpg)
It’s Friday and you all know what that means.... We, Joel and Scott are back to fill your eardrums with some epic jams. As you know our cold lockers are packed to the gills with devastatingly heavy dubstep sounds. More than the same can easily be said about our non-dubstep chunes. In fact, we are getting harassed for disturbing the peace and toxic contamination of our surrounding environment by our local environmental officials. Oooops. Shout out to all the support we been receiving from Copenhagen to New York and around the world. We love hearing from you guys. [...]

So The Girls Can Hear Us really are one of the best upcoming electro groups, and you guys loved the featured post on them earlier. Some people refer to them as LMFAO, but more talented. I'm not sure If I would say more talented, because well LMFAO is fckn huuuge, and it wouldn't have happened if they weren't pretty talented. Well, TGCHU really is one of my favorite up and coming groups, and this song really showcases their talent rapping, and as a sick BANGER electro group. They remix Silver Medallion's 'Slave' and completely turn it into their [...]

Nightcall (The Girls Can Hear Us Remix) by The Girls Can Hear Us!

So lately, as in the past couple years, I've been really into ironic, white boy dance music (see: my group Fresh Boy Allstars and MJF favorite, The Cataracs) and a few months ago I discovered a great remix of a classic Beach Boy Song by these guys, The Girls Can Hear Us! Just the other day I started researching them more and found out that these two dudes from Canada make really fun dance music. Don't leave home without these tasty jams tonight. (Author's note: For the T-Pain remix wait until about 14 [...]

Kavinsky feat.

So The Girls Can Hear Us is a fresh new electro duo with some strong hip-hop influence hailing from Ontario, Canada. They have a real sick energy filled sound, with the bass thumping hard. They remind me a lot of LMFAO, but with more of a Club then Party influence. Well I can't stop playing this first track, and you have to wait for the drop, sooo sick. It's a remix of the classic 'Wouldn't It Be Nice' by The Beach Boys, and they tear this track up. Enjoy this single, and then I've also included their recently [...]

Click image to download full album Sounds like: A bottle of Grey Goose, piles of cocaine Download audio file (01-I-Know-This-Song.mp3) What's so good? The Girls Can Hear Us is a canadian duo who pair catchy beats and smooth vocal rapping in creating a seriously excellent brand of club pop / hip hop. The 16 tracks found on their debut LP "Every Day" are a party just waiting to happen. I can't decide what it is exactly that make these two [...]
I've been a big fan of The Girls Can Hear Us ever since Audioporn mentioned that they sound like another of my favorite artists, Scotty Dynamo . The Girls Can Hears Us! (conveniently shorted as TGCHU) have the sort of self-aware hilarity that I like in my electropop-rap, and the catchy beats also make for pretty good gym music. Now, just in time for summer, TGCHU are going to drop their debut album and all of the songs sound pretty good. Even better is that the boys are fans of giving [...]
Hadn't heard the OG of this until I went and scoped it after checking out this dope TGCHU remix. I digs the remix. Thank you internet for making all of this possible. Dont keep it to yourself, help spread the word!

Springtime officially hit D.C. last week, with temperatures hitting the low nineties, literally everything blooming (including the Cherry Blossoms ), and my nose and eyes itching uncontrollably. After a long winter, the nation's capital deserves some warm weather, and with that comes a shift in my music listening. Introspective artists like The National and Beirut are replaced in favor of carefree classics from Van Morrison, Free Energy, and The Beach Boys. Speaking of that last group, I recently came across two very entertaining remixes of their iconic songs. The first is a dance-worthy remodeling of "Wouldn't it Be Nice" [...]

Discovered these guys, most likely late (see the comments on the Die Antwoord post), the other day courtesy of alexdmk commenting on the DJ remix site . Certainly some serious heat from these cats. Check up on them over at their website . Kind of remind me of a cross between The Cataracs and LMFAO. Sort of in between the two white rapper teams. Wouldn't It Be Nice (The Girls Can Hear Us Remix) by The Girls Can Hear Us! [...]

TGCHU is an acronym for The Girls Can Hear Us. These guys were all over the Hype Machine for a couple days, and rightfully so - they're a very talented duo. Great rhythm and great beats. Check out Drugs, Dancin' below to get a taste of their music, then feel free to click on the image above to download their sample album. Share/Save
I've been stuck in a rut lately. I've been swamped and work and when that happens I generally listen to a very small set of music over and over and over again. The problem with this is that no new music coming in means no new music going out. What happens is terrible. So to spice it up I decided to bundle together another volume of BOTR (Best of The Remix). If you'd like to check out all the previous BOTR volumes click here . Enjoy the music. mp3 : The Beach Boys - [...]

At first glance, Dr Hollywood and The Girls Can Hear Us come across as pretty similar -they both produce totally danceable, electro-rap and they pretty much look like the same guys in their promo shots. I guess the major difference is that while Dr. Hollywood is from the sunshine state, The Girls Can Hear Us rep London, Ontario. Dr. Hollywood - We Run LA (Dance Remix) The Girls Can Hear Us - I Know This Song [...]
