In Neon Indian's latest video for Era Extraña some solid face time with frontman Alan Palomo isn't the only treat we get. The band also give us an in-depth look at all the knob turning that compromises the band's sea of overdriven electronics. Here's the most recent release off of Neon Indian's upcoming album Era Extraña, which is slated for a September 13th release. "Hex Girlfriend" is immediately being added to my collection of songs that are built strictly for scenarios when I have to get something done. Everybody has a lame "study" playlist - I just prefer to have one for when I'm focusing on something else - when I need music that doesn't demand all of my immediate attention. Here's a track by a band called Neon Indian . I've only heard of the band in passing before, but I never really went out of my way to check them out. I think the band name annoys me, it's overly hipster to me. Like one of the bands you'd find in Urban Outfitters whose album is overpriced by a good ten dollars.
