This was a number 1 hit in 1961 and the only number 1 The Highwaymen had. It played so many times I think we all got sick of hearing it. One of my favorite scenes in Tom Hanks' movie Volunteers was when the entire cabin of volunteers was singing this and swaying to the music. It's been a long while since I've heard this, and it's far better than I remember. MP3 File
