Tambourine records has screwed over Swedish rock group The Hives by using money from The Cardigans to pay for studio production and other costs without telling them. "There are no loan agreements, no signed documents, no agreements on interest rates" state The Hives. However, they still lost the court case, and are expected to pay 18.5 million kroner ($2.9 million) to The Cardigans. Looks like they'll have to cut back on all those expensive suits and top hats for a while.
