No more hearing about TT until maybe September. A nine month reprieve, but I've decided to throw my support for the Ravens. There a blue-collar team that I hope socks Brady in the mouth. "We knew that we needed to make a video that represented that same event -- of course, with a few embellishments like the laser show. As for the surprise at the end, you'll have to check out our first video for 'Sex U' to get in on [...]

Twice in my life I have been invited to large celebrations with free food only to arrive and find out that the sole vegetarian options were sesame seed buns and creamy, mayonnaise slathered, cole slaw. I hate mayonnaise. Both times, being the trooper I am, I forced the black sheep of cabbage cuisine past my gag reflexes while smiling at the hosts and complimenting them on their food. I figured cole slaw and I would never get along. But everything changed once on a fateful Sunday when our car broke down in North Carolina. As we waited for [...]

Yeovil's HUNDRED DAYS, comprised of vocalist and lead guitarist Stuart Curtin, bassist Simon Evans and drummer Ryan Leese, are back to follow up 2009's 'Rise' with more of their brand of hard hitting heavy rock. Sitting between classic rock and heavy metal HUNDRED DAYS deliver all the Marshally goodness you'd expect from a band dedicated to art of rock but with twists as each of the band members bring their own influences to the sound. Rogue Rock Records releases HUNDRED DAYS' new album 'Mission Exodus' via digital distribution and follow up with a launch show at [...]
Halloween is over (if you missed the Halloween mixes go here) , and the holiday season (is it too early for Christmas mixes?) is revving up. Isn't it crazy that 2011 is almost over? In addition to the holiday season, this is the time of year when 'best of' lists; see IRC's Best Songs of [...] Read more, get songs or stream the entire mix on Indie Rock Cafe

Their sound has been compared to The Cure, Echo and The Bunnymen, Radiohead, Franz Ferdinand and The Killers. They are The Hundred Days and they recently released their debut album, Really? . The San Francisco band derived their name from them actually crafting their music in a house for one hundred days. The newest single off of the album is "Girl At A Party" and you can watch the video below. Also, watch the video for the first single from Really? , "Sex U."

Talk about a concept album. San Francisco's indie pop "it" kids The Hundred Days recorded their debut album Really? in just a hundred days and nights. The album, released earlier this fall, blends the band's love of moody alternative and catchy pop (think The Cure meets Franz Ferdinand); its newest single "Girl At A Party," the follow up to the unavoidable catchy "Sex U" is another foray into fun, dance music with a signature and melodious sound. After hitting the festival circuit hard at SXSW, Noise Pop Festival and the BFD festival over the past [...]

New Music Alert. The Hundred Days is an indie-dance band hailing from San Francisco. If you are a fan of The Rapture, The Bravery, The Killers, etc than you will like what these guys got. They just released their debut album, Really? and it is packed with tons of danceable indie rock. The band sent us over the video to their first single called "Sex U" and it has been stuck in our heads for a while. The melodies are catchy, the guitars driving and the music just makes you want to get up and dance. [...]

The Hundred Days are quite this interesting young band who have out the gate created a sound that is more put together than quite a few established band out there. Their sound is undeniably danceable and is full of strut and swagger. Their single 'Sex U' pleasantly reminds me of some of the very best of Franz Ferdinand and The Killers , sounding familiar and new at the same time. Their live shows have played a huge part in the sound they create, as lead vocalist Jonathan Smith explains, "Over time, we have [...]

well, this might not be true love but i think that's ok ♫ The Hundred Days - Sex U If anyone feels me on last year's Scissor Sisters album being some sexy fire then you will know what's up with this steamy jam. San Francisco's The Hundred Days turn up the heat and hope you all get a bit sweaty with this dirty-dance-floor number that wears it's hard-on on it's sleeve. If the title didn't give it away the lyrics make it clear that you are about to get schooled [...]

Series: No Cover Episode 3: Name of the Game - This week, Randy constantly bugs Marshall about what they should name the band…no easy task when one member has already settled on Sexplosion. Premieres: Bahamas – "Whole Wide World" - The band covers the song for In the Open…on a dock. Blaq Poet – "Mortuary Music" - In his debut single, Blaq Poet keeps up the idea that rap and grind-house go together like peanut butter and fluff. They compliment [...]

"Our goal was to make it really entertaining without taking ourselves too seriously." See the sexy result in the video below.
