It's been twenty years since U2 released Achtung Baby . Twenty years. Seems like, well, okay it does seem like twenty years ago. Well, now some notable artists have made a cover album, AHK-toong Bay-bi , for Q magazine . The cover album includes The Killers, Snow Patrol, Nine Inch Nails and Depeche Mode. This is honestly the last of the U2 covers I am interested in hearing. It has more to do with that fact that "Ultra Violet (Light My Way)" is one of my favorite U2 songs of all time than with who is covering it. But The Killers do a great job taking on the song, it has a different sound than the original but still turns out really good. Not sure when, but I assume the Achtung Baby tribute will be out soon.
