It's a spoof obviously but hats off to the director for creating a Genuine Knob that are all too common in this day and age! The recently released Mike Posner remix of the Knocks' track "Blackout" has all the hallmarks of a classic Ke$ha track - synth & keyboard heavy hooks, Britney Spears-esque basslines, and lyrics that could have come out of a 16 year old's idea of what going to a club is like. I'm still waiting for their next LP (because once you taste "Dancing With The DJ," you can never go back), but in the meantime the Knocks have released another single, "Magic," with Gary Go. To be honest, it's got a bit more of the Lion King type synth sound that I'd prefer - and come to expect from the Knocks.
