The first 150 people who pre-ordered it through the Labrador website (actually, Bengans) get a free tour DVD (I'm assuming it’s PAL, so if you order it make sure you have a DVD player that can play the disk!). Tonight I found myself watching a show called barkitecture. I'm serious. It's about dogs and people who build them things, dog houses, I suppose. This fine episode titled "Scout's Puppy Pal" was all about an older dog (Scout) and the new puppy who came to replace his dead companion. My New York operative came through with flying colors. Since I wasn't able to fly out to NYC for their shows at the Cake Shop and North Six, he was able to record the shows and get copies to me the next day. I was also thrilled to hear that they are going to be touring the US for their forthcoming album "Facts And Figures" so I may get to see them live after all. It's no secret that we're big on the whole Swedish thing here at BadmintonStamps. So you can only imagine the level of excitement radiating through our Philadelphia offices in anticipation of tonight's Acid House Kings show. Their first Philadelphia show ever, it'll be goin' down at the Kensington South Forum. The whole shebang, which includes fellow Swede rockers The Legends and local upstarts Brown Recluse Sings, kicks off at 9PM, and will set you back all of $7. Seriously, even Ikea can't offer you that much Swedish for your dollar.
