The values of machoism and licentiousness aren't exactly ones I esteem. I'm more one of those prudish, ever so slightly misanthropic monogamists, if I'm absolutely honest. And so the prospect of sex pop from a dangerous Yank quartet, two of whom stand about fountains shirtless with dogs and fags in decadent promotional shots, isn't immediately my thing.
